Galvanized steel was invented in 1972 and refers to a sheet of metal that is plated with galvalume; the carbon steel base product is repeatedly hot dipped into aluminum and zinc alloys. The metal final coating ensures that the product is composed of 55% aluminium, 43.4% zinc and 1.6% silicone.

Mechanical properties: The mechanical properties of galvanized steel sheet are its enormous yield strength, tensile strength and elongation.
